USA for their telecom clientele.
Background:
The client needed
to develop a product that can generate graphical
call analysis reports for the telcos using e-reporting
tool Actuate. The product is intended to keep track
of the details about the calls made by the telco
clients, analyse the calls, generate reports in
graphical and table format thereby helping the telcos
provide improved service.
The products:
Call Analysis is
the product developed. The report generation process
was implemented using e-reporting tool Actuate which
provides the telco clients facilities to analyse
their calls using web based thin interfaces. Actuate
engine makes the report generation easy, faster
and produces an equivalent HTML code for the generated
reports. Java Script is used for validations in
the client side. This product used Oracle as the
repository.
Features:
Reports generated
include Day of the Week Report (reports the busiest
day of the week and busiest hour of the day), Monthly
trending report (reports total calls made and total
cost for a given period), Cost Range Report (reports
the calls made for the given cost range), Area wise
Call Reports (gives the total calls made from a
particular area), "from number" summary
(gives details about a particular billing telephone
number).
